Baby's First Birthday! Big party vs. small get together?
Hello everyone, so here is me "dillema".....my daughter Gia, is turning the big ONE this month and I am torn between whether or not to just do a small family get together since she IS so young, or really go out with a bang because it is the little princess's first b-day??? So I put the queeation out to you all whom either have been down this raod before or or are looking down it now and trying to make the the same decision; either way, I'd love to hear what you did or what your thoughts are on the subjsct. Also, want to hear from everyone about what city and state they are from, so maybe we can get some "AllBabyOnline" playgroups together somewhere down the line, and maybe some volunteers from different regions to help me organize them, hhmmmm????? Well, I hope everyone and their families are doing great and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Well, the debate between big party or family get together has come and gone in regards to my daughter's 1st birthday, and we opted for.......neither! Instead, we, my fiance, daughter and I, hopped in the car and spent a family getaway/ first birthday party celebration up in Mammoth, CA. It was great! Fresh air, no drama and we all had a great time. Plus, her grandparents lived about an hour away so we did a big dinner and birthday cake the last night we were in town. So the moral of the story is "Sometimes you gotta go with the less conventional ideas and do whats best for and works best for your famliy"
